I urge everyone that has a Red Sox related blog to check out the new site I launched Red Sox 100. Red Sox 100 is a top list for only Red Sox sites. Each site is ranked then stats and comments are shown. After I get a good amount of members I will start adding other features like blog hosting for Sox fans, polls, email and the list goes on. I want to build the largest Red Sox Nation online community. It will be all free and there will be no need to buy a Red Sox Nation membership! :)
In May of 1996, the Red Sox were sure to be tired as on May 11 they played the Jays for 11 innings and won 6 to 5. The next day they played and lost 9 to 8 (11 innings), May 13th they lost once more 8-7 (13 innings) finally on the 14th they won against the Angels 4-3, a game that only took 12 innings... So in short the 14th marks the fourth extra inning game the Red Sox played in a row. This is a rare occurence especially in a non-playoff/world series game

In 1953 Red Sox pitcher Mickey Mcdermott started a fight with Bob Holbrook (a reporter) in the Red Sox locker room, when Mickey punched him in the face. Ted Williams took much pleasure in witnessing this act and congratulated Mickey on a job well done.

The year is 1926 and Fenway Park is in trouble, it has caught fire. The grass caught on fire and spread all the way to the billboard and bleachers. Many speculate the fires were started by the Red Sox organization itself, in an attempt to collect insurance money. Reportedly there were multiple fires the previous day.

Its the beloved 2004 Boston Red Sox Team and Pokey Reese just scored an inside home run during the fifth inning. The next inning Pokey did it again when he hit a regular homer. This was only the 7th time this feat had been accomplished at fenway park.

Boyd's doctor states in 1989 that the blood clot Boyd had been suffering from has cleared up. Even with this good news Boyd could no longer perform over-handed pitches. This brought fans to doubt Boyd's ability.

The year is 1952 and one of those famous fenway interuptions unfolds. A fan that is missing one leg storms out onto the field to have a conversation with Marty Marion. In the same day a few minutes prior, two kids attending college also made their way onto the field.
